Attendance & Punctuality Policy

1. Purpose The purpose of this Attendance & Punctuality Policy is to establish clear expectations for employee attendance, ensure smooth operations, and promote a professional work environment at Mango Tree Technology LLP.

2. Scope This policy applies to all employees of Mango Tree Technology LLP, including full-time, part-time, and contractual staff.

3. General Guidelines

  • Employees are expected to be punctual and adhere to their assigned working hours.
  • Regular attendance is essential to maintain productivity and teamwork.
  • Employees must clock in and clock out using the designated attendance system (biometric, software, or manual logs).
  • Any deviations from the regular work schedule must be communicated and approved in advance by the reporting manager.

4. Working Hours

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Flexible work arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior approval.

5. Late Arrivals and Early Departures

  • Employees arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice may be marked as late.
  • Three instances of unexcused tardiness in a month may result in a formal warning.
  • Early departures without managerial consent will be considered as a partial absence.

6. Absenteeism

  • Planned absences must be requested and approved through the leave management system.
  • Unplanned absences due to illness or emergencies must be reported to the reporting manager as soon as possible.
  • Employees absent without notice for more than two consecutive days will be considered as having abandoned their job, subject to disciplinary action.

7. Record-Keeping

  • Attendance records will be maintained by the HR department for payroll and compliance purposes.
  • Employees are encouraged to regularly check their attendance logs for accuracy.

8. Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • Verbal warning for the first instance of excessive tardiness or absenteeism.
  • Written warning for repeated violations.
  • Suspension or termination of employment for continued non-compliance.

9. Exceptions

  • Exceptions to this policy may be made for exceptional circumstances with the approval of the HR Manager and respective team leads.

10. Policy Review This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure alignment with company goals and employment regulations.
